Koping dan Kecemasan pada Mahasiswa Praktek Klinik Keperawatan Saat Pandemi Covid-19

Abstract


Praktek klinik adalah tahap pengenalan untuk mahasiswa dalam mengimplementasiksn teori dari kampus ke dalam praktik langsung perawatan pasien. Pandemi COVID-19 menuntut mahasiswa ketika praktek klinik harus lebih waspada. Kondisi tersebut semakin mempengaruh kondisi psikologis yang sebelumnya sudah terpengaruh karena praktek klinik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui korelasi antara mekanisme koping dan kecemasan mahasiswa keperawatan yang sedang praktek klinik saat pandemi COVID-19. Mahasiswa keperawatan sebanyak 373 dijadikan responden dengan menggunakan pendekatan cross-sectional. Pengukuran kecemasan responden dilakukan dengan Generalized Anxiety Disorder 7‐item scale (GAD-7). Koping diukur menggunakan kusioner gaya koping Coping Orientation to Problems Experienced Inventory (Brief-COPE)  Berdasarkan hasil uji korelasi spearman rank, koping berfokus pada masalah, subskala active coping (p=0,657), use of informational support (p=0,348), planning (0,314) tidak berkorelasi dengan kecemasan, subskala postive reframing (p=0,045) berkorelasi dengan kecemasan.  Pada koping berfokus pada emosi, subskala emotional support (p=0,243), acceptance (p=0,951), religion (0,265) tidak berkorelasi dengan kecemasan, subskala venting (p=0,000), humor (p=0,000), self blame (p=0,000) berkorelasi dengan kecemasan. Pada koping menghindar, subskala self distraction, denial, substance use, dan behavioral disengagement berkorelasi dengan kecemasan dengan nilai p=0,000. Mekanisme koping yang adaptif sangat dibutuhkan untuk bisa mengelola emosi seperti halnya kecemasan agar praktek klinik dapat diselesaikan dengan baik dan aman dari COVID-19.
