Abstract


Stres pada mahasiswa keperawatan merupakan sebuah respon terhadap situasi yang mengancam dan dapat menyebabkan ketidakseimbangan dalam diri individu. Stres perlu dikelola dengan manajemen stres yang tepat. Kombinasi teknik slow deep breathing dan expressive writing merupakan alternatif pilihan yang mudah diimplementasikan secara mandiri. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengidentifikasi efektivitas kombinasi teknik slow deep breathing dan expressive writing terhadap tingkat stres mahasiswa keperawatan. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuantitaif quasi-experimental pretest and posttest nonequivalent control group. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu quota sampling dengan jumlah 68 responden. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu Percieved Stress Scales (PSS) yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitas. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis univariat dengan statistik deskriptif dan analisis bivariat dengan uji T berpasangan dan Uji Wilcoxon. Kombinasi Slow Deep Breathing dan Expressive Writing efektif dalam menurunkan tingkat stress mahasiswa keperawatan.(p=0.007).
