HUBUNGAN AKTIVITAS FISIK PADA WAKTU LUANG DENGAN TINGKAT STRES PADA MAHASISWA KEPERAWATAN

Abstract


Mahasiswa keperawatan cenderung memiliki tingkat stres yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan mahasiswa dari program studi lain. Aktivitas fisik pada waktu luang berperan sebagai intervensi nonfarmakologis yang dapat memberikan efek fisiologis melalui peningkatan hormon endorfin serta manfaat psikologis berupa pengaturan emosi dan penurunan ketegangan mental. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan antara aktivitas fisik waktu luang dan tingkat stres pada mahasiswa keperawatan. Desain penelitian menggunakan pendekatan cross-sectional dengan 68 responden yang dipilih melalui total sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner Godin Leisure-Time Exercise Questionnaire untuk aktivitas fisik dan  Depression Anxiety Stress Scale-42 untuk mengukur tingkat stres. Analisis hubungan menggunakan uji korelasi Rank Spearman dengan bantuan perangkat lunak statistic yaitu SPSS 29.0.1. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa mengalami stres tingkat sedang. Uji Spearman menghasilkan nilai p = 0,007 dan koefisien korelasi r = -0,325, menandakan hubungan negatif signifikan dengan kekuatan lemah antara aktivitas fisik waktu luang dan tingkat stres. Semakin aktif mahasiswa secara fisik, semakin rendah tingkat stres yang dialami. Aktivitas fisik secara rutin dapat menjadi strategi efektif untuk menjaga keseimbangan mental dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan psikologis mahasiswa keperawatan
