Studi Kasus: Aplikasi Psikoedukasi Keluarga dengan Skizofrenia Selama Pandemi Covid-19 terhadap Ekspresi Emosi Keluarga dan Kepatuhan Pengobatan Pasien

Abstract


Keluarga merupakan bagian terpenting dalam proses perawatan skizofrenia dan dapat mengalami perasaan kelebihan beban perawatan dan stress sehingga dapat menimbulkan ekspresi emosi keluarga yang mengakibatkan kurangnya support dalam merawat penderita dan ketidakpatuhan pengobatan pasien. Salah satu intervensi keluarga dengan skizofrenia yang dapat dilakukan yaitu psikoedukasi keluarga. Tujuan dari studi kasus ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh aplikasi psikoedukasi keluarga skizofrenia selama pandemi Coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) terhadap ekspresi emosi keluarga dan kepatuhan pengobatan pasien. Tn. I (60 tahun) merupakan ayah sekaligus caregiver dari anggota keluarga yang mengidap skizofrenia. Keluarga melaporkan bahwa pasien memiliki riwayat putus obat dengan total skor pengukuran tingkat kepatuhan pengobatan sebanyak 5 (sedang). Selain itu, keluarga memiliki ekspresi kritik dan overprotektif pada pasien dengan total skor pengukuran ekspresi emosi keluarga sebanyak 27 (tinggi). Perawat memberikan intervensi berupa psikoedukasi keluarga secara offline melalui kunjungan rumah dan online melalui video call. Implementasi psikoedukasi keluarga skizofrenia di masa pandemi Covid-19 membutuhkan strategi khusus yang tepat supaya dapat tercapai tujuan akhirnya. Hasil pengukuran akhir didapatkan total skor pengukuran tingkat kepatuhan pengobatan sebanyak 10 (tinggi) dan total skor pengukuran ekspresi emosi keluarga sebanyak 23 (rendah). Psikoedukasi keluarga dapat mengurangi ekspresi emosi keluarga dan meningkatkan kepatuhan minum obat klien.
