Abstract
Penerapan program vaksinasi Human Papilomavirus (HPV) dianggap bergerak lambat di beberapa negara berkembang, yang mana hal ini menjelaskan masih tingginya angka kematian akibat kanker serviks. Hal ini mungkin saja berkaitan dengan masih kurangnya pengetahuan sehingga mempengaruhi perilaku masyarakat tentang vaksin HPV. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan dan perilaku masyarakat umum terhadap vaksin HPV. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode tinjauan sistematis dengan pencarian artikel menggunakan basis data online PubMed. Variabel dependen pada penelitian ini adalah HPV dan vaksin HPV sedangkan variabel independennya adalah pengetahuan dan perilaku. Total 23 dari 26 studi menjelaskan bahwa masyarakat memiliki pengetahuan yang rendah tentang virus, implikasi kesehatan, serta vaksin HPV, hal itu juga berpengaruh terhadap perilaku dan sikap terhadap program vaksinasi virus HPV. Tingkat pengetahuan dan perilaku masyarakat tentang virus, implikasi kesehatan dan vaksin HPV perlu ditingkatkan melalui promosi kesehatan.
