Gambaran Makna Hidup pada Pertumbuhan Pasca Trauma Penyintas Bencana Alam

Abstract


Bencana alam tidak secara sengaja disebabkan oleh manusia, dan manusia bertanggung jawab atas dampak yang terjadi. Penyintas bencana alam dapat mengelola peristiwa bencana yang mengerikan dan mengancam jiwa dengan menemukan tujuan hidup dengan cara mencari makna hidup. Koping religius atau spiritualitas menjadi bagian penting dalam pencarian makna hidup individu dengan pengalaman trauma. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini untuk memberikan gambaran pencarian makna hidup sebagai pendorong adanya pertumbuhan pasca trauma. Penulisan artikel ini dibuat dengan systematic review menggunakan 7 database EBSCOhost, Science Direct, Proquest, Scopus, Sage Publications, SpringerLink dan Wiley Online. Penulis menggunakan kata kunci pencarian yaitu “meaning in life” AND “posttraumatic growth” AND “natural disasters”. Analisis yang dilakukan penulis dari 12 artikel yang relevan didapatkan bahwa spiritualitas menjadi poin utama dalam pencarian makna hidup individu yang mengalami peristiwa traumatis karena bencana alam, sehingga dapat menjadi salah satu penanda pertumbuhan pasca trauma terutama dalam domain spiritual change.
