The research design was a quasiexperimental version of one group pre-post test only. The instrument uses test and nontest. The test instrument was analyzed using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov technique normality test, the Anova linearity test, and the correlation test using the SPSS 26 program. The non-test instrument with a questionnare using a likert scale was analyzed to calculate Frequency and TCR.The results showed that the normality test was 0,180 with a linear relationship with a p-value (0,428) > 0,05, this indicated that students cognitive abilities increased supported by a correlation test value of 0,382 with a significance level of 0,037. Analysis of the result of the treatment questionnaire shows an average frequency of 4,52 and TCR of 83,64 which indicates that the treatment of this method is very good. The Blended Learning Literacy (BLDD) strategy is very effective in improving students cognitive understanding of electrochemical material.
2023-08-23T09:01:42+07:00Copyright (c) 2023 JURNAL PENDIDIKAN SAINS UNIVERSITAS MUHAMMADIYAH SEMARANGhttps://jurnal.unimus.ac.id/index.php/JPKIMIA/article/view/12991An offline Practicum Workshop as An Aid for Students’ Chemistry Laboratory Practical Skills: A Case Study2023-12-02T21:40:17+07:00Hans Kristiantohans.kristianto@unpar.ac.idLinda Gandajayalinda@ithb.ac.idLisbet Warty Simanjoranglisbet.warty@unpar.ac.idHeny Saptasarihenysapta@gmail.com
The COVID-19 pandemic has caused disruption in various sectors including education. Since it was announced for the first time in mid-March 2020 in Indonesia, teaching and learning activities have been carried out online, either synchronously or asynchronously. If ordinary lecture activities still allow the delivery of material by changing forms and media, practicum activities in the chemistry laboratory are completely impossible to carry out and replaced with various forms of virtual learning. This study focuses on evaluating the perceptions of students' practical skills in various basic skills after returning to offline activities, and implementing practicum workshop activities as a corrective effort to improve student skills. Based on the results obtained, students have a low perception of skills, namely in the range 2.56 ± 1.02 to 3.42 ± 1.16 on a scale of 6.00. It can be seen that the effectiveness of virtual practicum is low in terms of skills and there is a need for corrective action so that students can catch up on the basic skills of practice in the chemistry laboratory. After the workshop activities, there was a significant increase (p < 0.05) in students' perceptions of skills with a range of 4.87 ± 0.66 to 5.26 ± 0.73 on a scale of 6.00. Based on the results in this study, it is suggested that other study programs to map and evaluate students' practical skills after the COVID-19 pandemic and take corrective measure to ensure the attainment of practical skills learning outcome.
2023-08-23T09:01:43+07:00Copyright (c) 2023 JURNAL PENDIDIKAN SAINS UNIVERSITAS MUHAMMADIYAH SEMARANGhttps://jurnal.unimus.ac.id/index.php/JPKIMIA/article/view/12519Development of LKPD Based on Think Talk Write on the Material of Basic Laws of Chemistry Class X2023-12-02T21:40:59+07:00Abdul Gani*abdulgani051266@gmail.comNinda Yunistikanindayunistika88@gmail.comMuhammad Nasirnasirmara@usk.ac.idZulfadli Zulfadliabdulgani051266@gmail.comSri Winarniabdulgani051266@gmail.comHabibati Habibatiabdulgani051266@gmail.comThe material on the basic laws of chemistry taught at the high school level so far is still not optimal according to the demands of the curriculum. This can be seen based on the low national exam results. The national exam scores for basic chemical laws in 2018 and 2019 were 16.6 and 35.2, respectively. This study aims to: (1) Describe the feasibility of TTW based LKPD developed on basic chemical laws material, (2) Describe students responses to TTW based LKPD developed on basic chemical laws material, (3) Describe educators responses to TTW based LKPD developed on basic chemical laws material. This research method uses R&D with the 4-D model, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. The subjects of this study were students of class X IPA 1 SMA Negeri 12 Banda Aceh totaling 25 people. Data collection was carried out using instruments. The research instrument is the LKPD validity assessment sheet by experts, a questionnaire sheet for students and educators responses. The results of the feasibility assessment of LKPD obtained very good, namely 93.3%. The responses of students and educators to the LKPD each obtained 86% and 94.8% in the very good category. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the LKPD based on think talk write on the material of the basic laws of chemistry is feasible to use as teaching material2023-09-12T16:10:28+07:00Copyright (c) 2023 JURNAL PENDIDIKAN SAINS UNIVERSITAS MUHAMMADIYAH SEMARANGhttps://jurnal.unimus.ac.id/index.php/JPKIMIA/article/view/13115Development of Ethnoscience-Based Organic Chemistry Practicum e-Module to Improve Students' Problem Solving Ability2023-12-02T21:42:50+07:00Yogo Dwi Prasetyoyogo.prasetyo@ulm.ac.idSyahmani Syahmanisyahmani_kimia@ulm.ac.idZaudah Cyly Arrum Daluzaudah.dalu@ulm.ac.idThis study aims to develop an ethnoscience-based organic chemistry practicum e-Module, determine the feasibility of the developed e-Module, and test its effectiveness in improving the problem-solving abilities of Chemistry Education students. The research method used is the R and D (Research and Development) research method with the Four-D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). At the 4D development stage, in the Develop section, media development and validation activities were carried out by three media and material experts. The data collection technique uses a validation questionnaire. Data analysis technique using descriptive analysis. The validation results for each aspect, namely construct validation of 89.08%, content validation of 90%, Language validation of 86.67%, these three aspects are in the very good category. The results of the overall validation show that digital media based on local wisdom of industrial agriculture achieves a validity score of 88.58% which is in the very good category and is suitable for use. Thus, it can be concluded that digital media containing local wisdom of industrial agriculture can then be used in the process of learning physics in basic physics 1 courses as an alternative solution to innovative learning resources based on local wisdom2023-09-18T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2023 JURNAL PENDIDIKAN SAINS UNIVERSITAS MUHAMMADIYAH SEMARANGhttps://jurnal.unimus.ac.id/index.php/JPKIMIA/article/view/12150Development Of Laps-Based Plant Physiology Anatomy Practicum Module - Heuristic To Improve Students' Problem-Solving Skills2023-12-02T21:43:47+07:00Herditiya Tiyainiherditiya@gmail.comIvan Eldes Dafritaivaneldes83@gmail.com
This research aims to determine the feasibility of the LAPS-HEURISTIC-Based Plant Anatomy and Physiology practicum module which was developed to improve students' problem solving abilities.
