HUBUNGAN DUKUNGAN SOSIAL DENGAN SUBJECTIVE WELL-BEING PENDERITA GERD (GASTROESOPHAGEAL REFLUX DISEASE)

Abstract
Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan yang menimbulkan gejala yang berdampak pada kesehatan fisk dan psikologis Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dukungan sosial dan subjective well-being penderita GERD. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain observasi analitik dengan metode cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 82 pasien terdiagnosis GERD, dan 76 responden dipilih sebagai sampel dengan teknik sample random sampling, yang didapat dengan mengguankan rumus slovin. Variabel independen dalam penelitian ini yaitu dukungan sosial dan variabel dependen yaitu subjective well-being. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa kuesioner Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) dan Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS). Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji korelasi spearman. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar pasien GERD memiliki tingkat dukungan sosial yang tinggi (72,04%) dan tingkat subjective well- being yang tinggi (56,6%), dengan nilai signifikansi (ρ value : < 0,012). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa dukungan sosial berhubungan dengan subjective well-being, tetapi bukan satu-satunya faktor yang memengaruhinya.. Oleh karena itu, dukungan sosial perlu dipandang sebagai salah satu komponen penting dalam mendukung kesejahteraan psikologis pasien GERD.
