1. Academic Background
   Advanced degree (Sp./M.Kes/M.Sc/PhD) in dentistry or a related field. A doctoral degree (PhD/Dr.) is preferred.
2. Research Experience
   Proven track record of publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals (national accredited or international).
3. Expertise
   Deep knowledge in one or more of the journal’s focus areas.
4. Competence
   Ability to critically evaluate scientific manuscripts for originality, methodology, and clinical relevance.
5. Commitment
   Willingness to complete reviews within the stipulated timeline (typically 2–3 weeks) and adhere to the principles of confidentiality and objectivity.

Roles and Responsibilities

As a reviewer for IJD, you will uphold the journal’s academic excellence by:

1. Evaluating manuscripts for scientific soundness, originality, and relevance to the scope of IJD.
2. Identifying potential ethical concerns (e.g., plagiarism, data fabrication).
3. Providing clear, constructive, and actionable feedback to help authors improve their work.
4. Recommending decisions (Accept, Revise, or Reject) based on the manuscript’s merit.
5. Declaring any potential conflicts of interest prior to accepting a review assignment.
