Author Guidelines

  1. The contents of the articles submitted are the results of community service activities.
  2. Articles are written in Indonesian or English with a double column format, using Garamond font, size 12 points (except abstract: 10 points), single spacing, paper size A4, and the number of words is 2000 - 7000 words (excluding titles , abstract, and bibliography.
  3. Articles are submitted in .doc, .docx, or .rtf file formats, via online submission on the Surya Masyarakat Journal website.
  4. Detailed guides regarding the formal matters of the article can be seen in the template.
  5. For the sake of ORIGINALITY, all articles undergo screening for plagiarism using TURNITIN (Allowed similarity is maximally 20%)

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. I am willing to include my WhatsApp number in my profile metadata field.

  2. My article has never been published or is under review in any journal, proceedings or other.

  3. My article format is .doc or .docx or .rtf.

  4. I am willing to bear any consequences if my article violates the provisions written in point 1.

    [Saya bersedia menanggung konsekuensi apapun jika artikel saya melanggar ketentuan yang tertulis pada poin 1.] 

  5. I am willing to bear any consequences if my article violates the provisions written in point 1.
    [Jika artikel ini terbit, hak ciptanya artikel saya menjadi milik Jurnal.]
     
     

  6. My article is written according to the template.

    [Artikel saya ditulis sesuai dengan template.]

Author Fees

This journal charges the following author fees.

Article Publication: 500000.00 (IDR)

If this paper is accepted for publication, you will be asked to pay an Article Publication Fee to cover publications costs. Since the next Volume 6 Number 2 edition, the Article Publication Fee is increased up to Rp. 500.000 rupiahs.

WAIVER POLICY

If you do not have funds to pay such fees, you will have an opportunity to waive each fee. We do not want fees to prevent the publication of worthy work.
