Jurnal Pendidikan Sains Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang or Jurnal Pendidikan Sains (JPS) (p-ISSN:2339-0786, e-ISSN:2502-1443 ) is an education journal published by Program studi Pendidikan Kimia, Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang. Jurnal Pendidikan Sains (JPS) was first registered p-ISSN:2339-0786 in 2013. Whereas in 2015 Jurnal Pendidikan Sains (JPS) was registered on e-ISSN:2502-1443. There is a change in the article writing template. It began from volume 9 number 1 2021, Jurnal Pendidikan Sains (JPS) just receive article in english. Jurnal Pendidikan Sains (JPS) is published twice a year, namely in march and october.

This journal publishes original articles on the latest issues in science curriculum, instruction, learning, policy that address the intersection of science education and technology with implications for improving and enhancing science education.

Topics covered can be categorized as disciplinary (biology, chemistry, physics, enviromental, as well as some applications of computer science and engineering, including the processes of learning, teaching and teacher development), technological (hardware, software, deigned and situated environments involving applications characterized as with, through and in).

Jurnal Pendidikan Sains Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarangis concerned with science education but also welcomes manuscripts on the integration of science education with other disciplines, in particular, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics.

The Journal Pendidikan Sains (JPS) is accredited Sinta 3 as written in the Ministry of Research and Technology Decree No. 36/E/KPT/2019.
