Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in Microsoft Word document file format. Conform to the standard of JICHI's paper template pdf or docx version, and the text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which are found in About the Journal.
- If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
- The minimum number of pages is as much as 6 pages, outside the references. Editors will evaluate if a paper is needing more than 8 pages
Abstract has a maximum 250 WORDS; No citation; State in the abstract a primary, objective, materials, method, results, and implications for further research.
Section structure: Introduction (include the literature review) - The Material and Method/Method/Research Method - Results and Discussions – Conclusion.
References expect a minimum of references from the last 5 years, especially for Scopus/WoS/Sinta indexed journal papers 3, 2, and 1. If your manuscript is found not to be as recommended, you will then be allowed to submit to other relevant journals. Use tools such as Zotero, Mendeley, or EndNote for reference management and formatting, and have chosen the APA 7th Edition reference style.
- If the author requests withdrawal of his/her manuscript when the manuscript is still in the peer-reviewing process, the author will be punished as the withdrawal penalty to the publisher. However, it is unethical to withdraw a submitted manuscript from one journal if accepted by another journal.
