Author Guidelines

Carefully read the submission guidelines as follows:

A. General Requirements

The minimum standard requirements of the Journal of Intelligent Computing and Health Informatics must be

  1. Written in English.
  2. The length of the submitted paper is at least 6 pages outside the references. Editors will be evaluated if the papers are needing more pages than 10 pages.
  3. Use a tool such as Zotero, Mendeley, or EndNote for reference management and formatting, and choose APA 7th style.
  4. Make sure that your paper is prepared using JICHI's paper template pdf or docx version and Copyright Transfer Form when accepted.

B. Structure of The Manuscript

The manuscript must be prepared and suggested present follow the structure:

  1. Title. The title of the paper is maxed 10 words, without Acronym or abbreviation
  2. Abstract. The Abstract has a maximum of 250 WORDS; No citation; State in the abstract a primary objective, materials, method, results, and implication for further research.
  3. Section structure. Authors are suggested to present their articles in the section structure: Introduction - The Proposed Method/Algorithm (optional) - Materials and Method/Method/Research Method - Results and DiscussionConclusion
  4. References. Expect a minimum of 30 references primarily with a minimum of 80% journal articles that have a reputation and are not more than 5 years old.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in Microsoft Word document file format. Conform to the standard of JICHI's paper template pdf or docx version, and the text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which are found in About the Journal.
  3. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
  4. The minimum number of pages is as much as 6 pages, outside the references. Editors will evaluate if a paper is needing more than 8 pages
  5. Abstract has a maximum 250 WORDS; No citation; State in the abstract a primary, objective, materials, method, results, and implications for further research.

  6. Section structure: Introduction (include the literature review) - The Material and Method/Method/Research Method - Results and Discussions – Conclusion.

  7. References expect a minimum of references from the last 5 years, especially for Scopus/WoS/Sinta indexed journal papers 3, 2, and 1. If your manuscript is found not to be as recommended, you will then be allowed to submit to other relevant journals. Use tools such as Zotero, Mendeley, or EndNote for reference management and formatting, and have chosen the APA 7th Edition reference style.

  8. If the author requests withdrawal of his/her manuscript when the manuscript is still in the peer-reviewing process, the author will be punished as the withdrawal penalty to the publisher. However, it is unethical to withdraw a submitted manuscript from one journal if accepted by another journal.
