Patient Privacy and Confidentiality
Media Keperawatan Indonesia respects and protects the privacy of patients involved in research and case reports.
Authors must ensure that all personal information that could identify a patient is removed or anonymized unless explicit consent has been obtained.
Informed Consent
When identifiable patient information is included in the manuscript, authors must obtain written informed consent from the patient or the patient's legal guardian.
Authors must confirm in the manuscript that informed consent has been obtained.
Use of Images and Clinical Data
If photographs, medical images, or clinical descriptions are used that could potentially identify a patient, explicit written consent must be obtained prior to publication.
The editorial office may request documentation of patient consent during the review process.
