Preprint Policy

Preprint and Prior Dissemination

Media Keperawatan Indonesia permits authors to deposit their manuscripts on recognized preprint servers prior to submission.

Posting a manuscript on a preprint server will not be considered prior publication.

However, authors must disclose the existence of the preprint at the time of submission.

 

Author Responsibilities Regarding Preprints

Authors must provide the following information during submission:

  • name of the preprint server
  • URL or DOI of the preprint version

After publication, authors are encouraged to update the preprint record to include a link to the final published article.

 

Acceptable Preprint Servers

Examples include institutional or international preprint platforms that support scholarly communication.
